This project was born in 2003 within the Youth Local Council.
To achieve this project, the YLC set up a committee consisted of young people and professionals.
This committee met on average once a month to build the contents of the project, to find the interested partners and communicate with them, to prepare the file for Europe and finally to get ready to animate the exchange.
Some striking stages of this long preparation:
- December 2003, during a seminar of contact in Luxemburg, presentation of the project
- July 2004, participation of 5 brestois youngsters in a youth exchange in Luxemburg about the European citizenship
- December 2004, participation of 5 brestois youngsters in a youth international meeting in Paris
- August 2005, participation of 4 brestois youngsters in a youth exchange in Prague about the Europeans institutions
- September 2005, feasibility visit in BREST with 5 partners (see the report (pdf))
- June 2006, planning visit with 6 countries on 7 foreseen … (see the report (pdf))
